"I certainly enjoyed being an orthopedist in Southern California but I was quick to realize that I was so busy and the pace was so hectic that I was not able to enjoy myself with my wife and two children. Durango has proven to be a very special place to raise my kids and enjoy a vibrant orthopedic career. For me the perfect balance between work and family. I love being able to bring my experiences in orthopedics to this community and am constantly integrating the most up to date techniques into my practice. In my free time I thoroughly enjoy snow skiing, running (more of a love/hate relationship), fishing, mountain biking (moderately terrified having seen and cared for quite a number of accidents) and reading. One of the more simpler pleasures however, is hiking with my family and the Four Corners area provides a spectacular venue to explore"
